Best,
We have had another wonderful trip to India. Four years ago we went for Dehli, Agra, Varanasi and Rajasthan. This time we chose the southwest of India (Bangalore - Goa region). For two weeks we felt at home in this beautiful region with very warm people. The organization of the trip on site was again flawlessly arranged! Of course the car journeys are not always fun, but you also see and experience a lot on the way. The crowds and traffic are an integral part of the daily life of the Indians. In Goa we were on the road for 2 days, each with a scooter. We can recommend it to everyone.
We were also extremely surprised to encounter almost no foreigners. This made it even more special, everywhere we were accosted in a cool way by the 'locals'. However, there are plenty of highlights: Mysore, Nagarhole NP, the coffee region of Coorg and Chikmagalur, the beaches of Goa. However, the absolute must-see is Hampi: incredibly beautiful and of the level of Borobudur, Angkor Wat, Bagan. We walked around the whole day with an excellent and sporty guide, certainly the best way to discover it.
The hotels were also real gems located in unique locations with an improbable service! We don't need to mention that the local cuisine was delicious, just like the Indian wines.
India surprised us again and conquered our hearts for the second time. We'll be back for sure.
