Encounters with the Masai, Pokot and Samburu
Laikipia is a vast area north and west of Mount Kenya. A region where conservation is of paramount importance. Far from the tourist routes, the locals, Masai, Pokot and Samburu, together with the local farmers, try to maintain the wildlife, while not losing sight of their traditional way of life. The landscape is formed by grasslands, hills and rivers. You can take beautiful walks here, where special encounters with the colourful population are central. In addition, it is possible to go on safari, either by open land rover or on the back of a camel.
