These are nestled near an ancient Milkwood forest - in Afrikaans: White Milkwood, an exceptionally hard wood - surrounded by rolling hills and fynbos. Here you overlook Walker Bay and beyond it the Atlantic Ocean and Cape of Good Hope, places where whales are often spotted. The air is filled with the sweet, intoxicating scent of flowers and the sizzling sound of insects and birds that find their food here, under a sky that constantly changes color. Such a picturesque panorama is enough reason to settle down here, but in addition there are lots of opportunities to explore nature in a sporting or relaxing way. Everything is done responsibly, with the aim of protecting nature - such as fragile fynbos - and raising the standard of living of the local population. Local ingredients are of organic origin; flavor, texture and color are carefully balanced in an original dish.
