Annual migration of wildebeest and zebra
Liuwa Plains National Park is located in western Zambia, near the border with Angola, and is among Zambia's best-preserved treasures. Because of its vastness and poor infrastructure, this area is still very authentic. Because few travelers come to this area, the people still live very traditionally. A genuine encounter with the locals, who are in their element in the small canoes they use to fish, will command a lot of respect. Besides the vastness of the Plains, the annual wildebeest and zebra migration is the attraction of the park. Every year a wildebeest and zebra migration takes place, coming from the plains of Angola.
