Annual migration of wildebeest and zebras
Located in western Zambia, near the border with Angola, Liuwa Plains National Park is one of Zambia's best preserved treasures. Due to the vastness of the area and the poor infrastructure, this area is still very authentic. Because few travellers come to this area, the population still lives very traditionally. A sincere meeting with the locals, who are in their element in the small canoes with which they fish, will command a lot of respect. In addition to the vastness of the Plains, the annual wildebeest and zebra migration is the attraction of the park. Every year there is a wildebeest and zebra migration, coming from the plains of Angola.
