Unique wilderness area on Zambezi river
Between the foothills of the Rift Valley and the mighty Zambezi River, a unique wilderness area with abundant wildlife has developed, Lower Zambezi N.P. This national park is located on the northern bank of the Zambezi, opposite Mana Pools N.P. in Zimbabwe. The Zambezi here is home to one of the largest herds of hippos in the world, and along the waterfront live many elephants and buffalo.
