Old country house transformed into boutique hotel
Kandy House is a beautifully restored country house from 1804, with a lush tropical garden. It is enclosed by rice paddies and tea plantations. From this boutique hotel you are so in Kandy to visit the Temple of the Holy Tooth. Just outside Kandy, the Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya are well worth a visit. Bikes are ready to explore the green tea fields.
There are nine individually decorated rooms. Red Spot Duke or Indian Admiral, the rooms are named after the various butterflies found in Sri Lanka. The decoration is made of antique furniture and local materials.
