Expedition ship Magellan Explorer is a new and modern expedition ship built specifically for the shipping company's Antarctic expedition cruises Antarctica 21. The ship, built to the latest Polar Code specifications has a capacity for 73 guests and features a glass-enclosed observation lounge and presentation room with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, a spacious and stylish dining room, a well-stocked bar, a library, a meeting room, a gym, a sauna , and a medical clinic. The forward-facing observation deck leads to the bow of the ship, which is accessible to guests to provide close proximity to marine animals. Cabin Types
The Magellan Explorer has seven different categories of cabin types, including special single cabins. All cabins, except Portholes, have private balconies. All twin cabins except two have twin beds that can be configured as a king size bed. Most cabins have twin beds that can be configured as a queen bed. All cabins feature a wardrobe, individually regulated heating, a seating area and a private bathroom with a shower and underfloor heating.
