In the capital city of <strong>Valletta<\/strong> , narrow winding streets invariably lead to the main square which is dominated by the huge Baroque church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hidden and deserted coves with pebble and rocky beaches overflow into shallow Mediterranean waters. The <strong>Blue Cave<\/strong> consists of seven caves that were created by the current and waves of the sea. The location of the caves in combination with the position of the sun ensures that the water reflects beautiful shades of blue. Sail from Malta to the sister islands of <strong>Gozo<\/strong> and <strong>Comino<\/strong> in less than an hour . The two temples of <strong>\u0120gantija<\/strong> in Gozo are the oldest free-standing monuments in the world, proof that humans lived at least 1,000 years before the construction of the Egyptian pyramids at <strong>Giza<\/strong>. <strong>Comino<\/strong> is the smallest of the trio and largely uninhabited.<\/p>\n<p>The nightlife in Malta is always buzzing with many clubs to visit, excellent wine bars and first class restaurants especially in <strong>Paceville<\/strong> &amp; <strong>St Julian&#8217;s<\/strong> .
