In the Andes you will find giant volcanoes, beautiful high crater lakes and authentic and colorful markets, typical Indian villages, hidden in the highlands. East of the highlands begins the immense Amazon forest, rich in tropical flora and fauna. On the coast, more than a thousand kilometers of beaches stretch out and into the sea. Magnificent colonial architecture, particularly in UNESCO cities Quito and Cuenca, is some of the best preserved in Latin America, characterized by its white facades, wooden balconies, 17th-century churches with detailed gilded carvings and attractive courtyard gardens.

Galapagos Islands

Due to its isolated location, the Galapagos Islands are home to many special animal and plant species that are found nowhere else on earth and are not shy of humans.
