Shu’mata Camp is located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro<\/a>,<\/strong> deep in traditional Masai country, in an area known as Private Amboseli. “Shu’mata” means something like “above the clouds” or “heaven.” It is a small but impressive permanent camp on a hill with beautiful views in all directions.<\/p>\n The camp consists of five large Hemingway-style East African tents. The spacious comfortable safari tents have en suite bathrooms with flush toilet and open-air shower with running water. Each tent has a private veranda with beautiful views.
