Wild park in Angola
Kissama National Park (Quicama N.P.) is located in the northwest ofAngola and is almost 10,000 km2 in size. Kissama is the most accessible and wild-rich park in Angola. To the west, the park borders the Atlantic Ocean. The Kwanza River is the northern boundary of the park and the southbound Longa River is the southern boundary. The presence of sufficient water has meant that in the past there was a large amount of wildlife to be seen.
During the civil war, virtually the entire population of wildlife was wiped out. However, in cooperation with South Africa and Botswana, large numbers of wild weather have been reintroduced to the park. Kissama played an important role in the reintroduction of the wild animals. This project is also called 'Noah's Ark'. The landscape consists of coastal savannah interrupted by Baobab trees. Take an impressive safari and spot elephants, giraffes, water buffaloes, native Palanca antelopes and beach-nesting sea turtles.Where the world can't find you...
