First of all I would like to thank you for the wonderful trip through South Africa that we have just completed.

It was a wonderful mix of lodging. And all the lodgings had their charm: an outdoor shower (blissful), then self-catering (wonderful basket with delicious (and (too) much food), then pure luxury (a warm 'bouillotte' on your chair, then a beautiful view (on the ocean with whales), then a whole lodge for us alone, ...

Due to circumstances, almost two full days of travel. In Pongola we ended up just sleeping and left early the next day, given our experience with travel times, but it wasn't too bad then, and from then on the travel times were also truer. In Mkuze we had wonderful game drives and saw many animals. That was a really beautiful nature reserve. We also liked Saint Lucia and we might have stayed there a day longer to have had more time to visit the Wetlands. There were horseback riding opportunities there too, but no more on the one free half-day we had there. In Umdloti, we had ended up with one night, but we did have a fun outing at the Usaka Marine World.

This is our report, as already mentioned we had a great trip and enjoyed nature to the fullest.
