We had a very nice trip to two islands of the Azoreshad! The nature, the peace, the small scale (how nice it was to just be able to drive for 15 minutes or walk for half an hour without running into anyone!

The first hotel just outside Ponta Delgadawas fine, the cottage at Lava Homes on Pico downright fantastic with a great view.

We took beautiful walks. One of the highlights was the whale and dolphin tour on Pico: we got to spot 6 different species of whales and dolphins. Only point of note was that pop the voucher stated that we had to report to the meeting point at 8:00am, this turned out to be 8:30am upon arrival.

A 2nd highlight was the ascent of Pico: we walked most of the walk above the clouds in which there were occasional gaps, very special. The hike was tough, especially the descent. And we certainly felt that for the next two-three days.

The contact prior and during the trip with you was very pleasant. I have already passed on your travel company to several friends and colleagues as a tip.
