We are extremely satisfied with our family trip to Mexico, organized by Untamed Travelling. From the beginning they sensed perfectly what was important to us in the planning. On site everything went smoothly, with a local contact person who was always ready to answer additional questions. This gave us a great sense of customer experience and trust.

Our trip took us to four extraordinary destinations: Mexico City, Oaxaca, Merida and Isla Holbox.

Mexico City is a vibrant, hip city with beautiful parks and delicious restaurants. The activities were top notch; highly recommended is the sunrise balloon ride over the Teotihuacan pyramids and the visit to the anthropology museum after hours - truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Our guide in Mexico was fantastic and taught us a lot about the fascinating history. For our son there was a highlight: theater wrestling, "lucha libre. This was not pre-arranged, but everything was arranged perfectly on the spot so that we could enjoy this unique spectacle together with thousands of locals. We stayed three nights, but definitely would have liked to stay longer.

Oaxacawas also a very nice place to be. The culinary scene was surprisingly sophisticated; we were really impressed with their sense of detail and taste. The atmosphere in the city is relaxed, with colorful colonial architecture. We enjoyed Monte Alban immensely, with its impressive pyramids and beautiful location. The crafts, markets and cooking class gave us a deeper connection to the local culture. Highly recommended.

In Merida, we stayed four nights in a lively city that served mainly as a base. At my request, the guide even arranged a salsa lesson, which was great fun. We ventured out for a dance night in one of the cozy bars, among the locals. The cenotes in the area are beautiful, especially if you get there early and have them almost to yourself. Untamed gave us the tip to visit the pyramids of Uxmal instead of crowded Chichen Itza - golden advice. Uxmal is more idyllic and much quieter, which made our experience extra special.

We concluded our vacation on beautiful Isla Holbox, with true Caribbean vibes, blue waters and expansive beaches. Although the island can be crowded, our very charming hotel was located in a quiet spot on the beach. An atmospheric, intimate setting perfectly suited to the relaxed vibes of Holbox. We enjoyed the beach, the blue waters and the magical sunsets - the ideal ending to our trip. We certainly could have stayed here longer.

All in all an unforgettable trip, excellently organized with attention to detail and personal service. We can highly recommend Untamed Travelling!
