Luxury semi-permanent safari camp
Khwai Tented Camp is intimately located on a lagoon that flows into the Kwhai River. It is a luxury semi-permanent camp in the traditional style of the first explorers who explored the African continent.
The six spacious Meru-style tents have comfortable single beds with nice bedding, a bedside table, luggage sofa, wardrobe and sisal mats. A zippered opening at the back leads to the en-suite bathroom with an outdoor (bucket) shower. Hot water is here on request as there is no running water.

The day starts with an early breakfast. Then take an open 4x4 vehicle through this amazing area in search of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, giraffes, elk, antelopes, hippos and hyenas or under expert guidance explore the delta on foot. Back in the camp you can enjoy a delicious brunch. After visiting a the local community there are snacks and cakes available. During the evening game drive nocturnal spotting and a beautiful sunset admire.In the evening taste of authentic dishes prepared in traditional bush style and fresh produce. End your day with a delicious glass of wine by the roaring campfire enjoying the sounds of the wilderness.
