The small-scale Kwando Lagoon Camp,located on the shady banks of the Kwando River, is nestled under towering ebony and marula trees. This wooded area is home to a wide variety of birds and mammals. Elephants often drink in the vicinity of the camp; a beautiful spectacle!

There are eight spacious en-suite tents, comfortably furnished with teak furniture. Experience the bush feeling as you take a refreshing outdoor shower or relax on the terrace under the watchful eye of hippos.

From sunrise to sunset

The day starts with an early wake-up call and a gathering around the fireplace with piping hot coffee, muffins and a brilliant sunrise. Then, under expert guidance, you will go into nature with a 4x4 vehicle or on foot where you will get acquainted with the fauna and flora of the Kwando concession. Back in the camp it is wonderful to cool off in the pool. You can also go river fishing for tiger fish or bream.

The freshly prepared meals are served in the thatched dining room from where you look out on the tranquil waters of the lagoon. In the evening by boat birdwatching or playing otters observe and then enjoy an enchanting sunset.
