Selinda Camp

Traditional safari lodge in the amazing Linyanti swamp

The luxurious Selinda Camp is   one of the gems in the region. It is   located on the banks of the eastern Selina Spillway where the Kwando, Savuti and Linyanti rivers meet and offers breathtaking views over wide, dry grasslands dotted with waterholes interspersed with palm-fringed islets as far as the eye can see.

Nine spacious luxury tents are a harmonious blend of a classic tents bushcamp with modern amenities under cool thatched canopies. Each tent is decorated with beautiful furniture, a comfortable four-poster bed with draped mosquito net and a unique egg-shaped stone bath. Take a seat on the terrace with binoculars in hand as there is hardly a moment here when there are no animals to be seen.   Delectable three-course menus are served on the raised open deck, complemented by a beautiful South African wine from the wine cellar. Traditionally, the evening ends with a nice glass of wine by the campfire.

A great diversity of game and birds

A safari through this vast area defies imagination. On foot, by 4x4, by boat or just sitting quietly in a shelter... here you will see a diversity of large and small game: huge herds of elephants and buffaloes, lion families, packs of wild dogs, zebras and antelopes. Nocturnal animals such as leopard, aardwolf, serval and civet are regularly spotted.   Every day here is different, unpredictable and magical.
