Egypt is a true dream destination for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. The Red Sea is one of the clearest seas in the world, and beams of light from the ever-shining desert sun reaching depths of up to 100 meters not only offer fantastic visibility but also encourage the formation of beautifully colorful coral reefs where countless colorful fish and other animals hide.
Colorful coral reefs and dolphins
The most famous places for snorkeling and diving are Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh, located at the southernmost tip of peninsula Sinai. A few dozen kilometers from Hurghada you will find the pristine bay of Sharm el Naga, home to magnificent coral reefs. If you dive underwater at Elphinstone, you have a good chance of spotting sharks. At El Gouna, you can dive to the Abu nuhas wrecks and, with luck, see turtles and even dolphins in addition to reef sharks.
Many hotels on the coast have a beautiful house reef, please inquire with us.
