Various landscapes & wildlife
On this tour, you'll explore two beautiful parks in Gabon: Loango and Pongara. Loango National Park, which explorer Mike Fay called “Africa’s last Eden,” is a unique park where diverse landscapes converge. Vast forests and savannas alternate with wetlands, lagoons, and the ocean. The wildlife is also extraordinary, ranging from forest elephants, forest buffalo, and hippos to lowland gorillas, sitatungas, and brush-tailed baboons. The coast is also home to one of the largest concentrations of whales and dolphins. The Pongara National Park offers not only pristine white-sand beaches that invite you to relax, but also an enormous variety of animals, both on land and in the ocean.
