Danforth Lodge

Comfortable lodge with plenty of water sports options

At the end of Cape MacLear, adjacent to Lake Malawi National Park is Danforth Lodge. Surrounded by islets, the guest house offers spectacular views of the lake and thumbi West Island.

Seven spacious rooms are simple but tastefully decorated in cool, nautical colours. These guest houses are situated on immaculate green lawns that lead to the golden sandy beach and beautiful swimming pool. From the lodge you can take snorkeling trips to the islands, dive among hundreds of colorful cichlids, sail the sailboat or catamaran through the bay, wake boarding or water skiing, as well as make excursions to fishing villages and explore nature by mountain bike. Or simply enjoy the sun and the quiet surroundings in the comfortable loungers.
