The super comfortable and eco-friendly Tongole Wilderness Lodge lies deep in the rugged and breathtakingly beautiful miombo forests of Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve. This unspoilt nature reserve is adjacent to Lake Malawi and is home to elephants, antelopes, monkeys, crocodiles and countless birds.
The four spacious reed-covered chalets are built and furnished with local materials and fabrics. On your own large wooden terrace you can enjoy the panoramic views over the Bua River and the forests behind.
At breakfast, the activities are discussed. Walking through the bush early in the morning and discovering the diversity of fauna and flora. Bathing elephants and rare birds can observe during a kayak safari. In the late afternoon you can enjoy sipping on the usual gin and tonic of a beautiful sunset. The evening concludes with a tasteful dinner under a sparkling starry sky and only the sound of the bush.
