Adjacent to Greater Kruger Park
From Monwana Game Lodge you drive straight into the game park. The lodge is not far from the Monwana River, which flows for several months after the rainy season and then dries up. There is always plenty of game around the river, and in the dry season the animals like to make a trip to the waterhole at Monwana Game Lodge. Close by, therefore, there are already plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. Monwana is also directly adjacent to the Greater Kruger National Park, so your range to go see the Big Five is huge. There are also very many bird species, which you can even observe from your terrace. But don't be surprised if suddenly a herd of elephants comes to drink! This is downright enjoyable with a cool beer in your private pool or - in the cooler season - from a warm bath.
