Wildlife parks and tropical islands at a glance
A number of beautiful destinations in South Africa and Mozambique are strung together by private charter flights during this trip. These are operated by six-seat Cessna - that includes the pilot. Thus, journeys between the chain of highlights become highlights themselves, as you also see game parks and tropical islands - the focus of this trip - from a bird's eye view. Where possible, the flight is even expressly intended as a sightseeing flight, often flying low. You will see zebras and giraffes, hippos in the river, and around the islands you will see the sea green and azure hues of the sea, betraying where coral reefs and sandbars are located. Children on the beach look up and wave; the plane skims over the tops of palm trees. Just a little longer, you will feel the warm sand under your feet. Where the world can't find you....
Luxury surrounded by unspoiled nature
Where the plane takes you, your vehicle is already waiting for the next stage. Travel distances and waiting times are minimal because everything has been arranged especially for you. In consultation with you, we choose the lodge or resort that best suits your needs, in unique locations in the middle of nature but with a swimming pool and excellent restoration. The contrasts between raw bush, deserted beaches and boundless pampering are great, this way travel becomes truly magical.
TIPS & TOPS Fly-in South Africa and Mozambique:
- The first stop is in the malaria-free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, home to 65 different species of mammals - including the Big Five; here you will include a walking safari
- Pafuri, the second stop is in the far north of Greater Kruger Park, where the Limpopo River also flows
- Biodiversity is great around Pafuri: the staggering depths of Lanner Gorge and Luvhuvu River Canyon contrast sharply with the vastness of Limpopo Flood Plains, the sheer size of a 2,500-year-old baobab humbles
- During the panoramic flight to the Bazaruto archipelago in Mozambique, the route passes the most picturesque islands and bays; the plane frequently descends to low altitude
- Your resort is in a heavenly spot on the azure sea, near a kite surfing school and not far from a lively town with plenty of couleur locale
- Explore the underwater world the way you prefer: with a snorkel, scuba tanks, a fishing rod or surfboard, or from the back of a horse while riding along the beach
- A scenic flight takes you back into the bush, to Gorongosa National Park Wilderness, where you will look out for wild dogs and extraordinary bird species
- The last elephants and waterbucks disappear from view on the scenic flight to Inhambane; look out over the sea for dolphins and whales
- Above water you will find sun, sea and sand beaches, delicious cocktails and resting beds in the shade; below water you will find sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins, reef sharks and moray eels swimming
- On your last flight to Johannesburg, you will pass a tapestry of landscapes, where many fond memories now lie
