Remote eco-friendly camp in Hwange National Park
Camp Hwange is one of the newest camps in the Shumba area inHwange National Park. The camp is perfectly located; in the shade of a teak forest on one side and with a beautiful view over a large open plain full of wild animals on the other. It is wonderful to stay in the large open building. Settle into one of the comfortable chairs while enjoying the 180° view of the wild nature. Keep your camera ready to take fantastic close-ups of the elephants who come to quench their thirst at a well. The eight thatched chalets with polished floors are simple yet stylishly decorated and all have views of the well.
Activities around the camp
With an open 4x4 vehicle through the Mopane forest, to admire the variety of animals and birds. Explore nearby rocks under the guidance of an experienced guide, looking for cliff jumpers and leopards. Huge herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeest observe from a thatched observation post near the well. The day ends by the campfire with a delicious drink under a sky filled with thousands of stars.
