Far away from civilization, deep in the fjords of southern Patagonia lies a landscape of countless impressive glaciers. Aboard the MV Skorpios III, you will sail through this vast Patagonian ice field in five days via the Kaweskar route. No less than 810 kilometers along numerous glaciers, such as Guilliard, Amalia, El Brujo (the Warlock) and the glaciers of the Calvo, Bernal and Herman fjords. In the smaller expedition boats you will sail between colored icebergs, through narrow channels, past gigantic ice walls and imposing glaciers that slowly plunge into the sea.
Varied flora and fauna
During this expedition you will discover the varied flora and fauna of Patagonia, which is still in a wild and pristine state. Sea elephants in the Guardramirofjord, on and around the water you can spot sea lions, dolphins and sometimes even whales, while cormorants and condors dominate the skies. During shore excursions and hikes, foxes or sea otters sometimes appear among the forests and rock formations.
