Mini Galapagos Islands
From Paracas are the Islas Ballestas visits, also called the mini Galapagos Islands. During the boat trip you will pass the Candelabra,a special drawing on the slope of the desert-like peninsula of Paracas, using the same kind of technique as for the Nazca lines. The Islas Ballestas are the habitat of sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins and cormorants. On the return trip, Chilean flamingos can be seen in the southern part of the bay from June to August. With a bit of luck, you will be accompanied by dolphins during the tour.
