In the middle of nature, near Paramaribo
Just seven kilometers from the central market in Paramaribo and yet surrounded by nature? It can be done! The extremely pleasant Peperpot Hotel is in a very convenient location near Paramaribo, adjacent to the Peperpot Nature Park. For centuries, this was a coffee and cocoa plantation; however, the plantation has been returned to nature. In the Surinamese climate this means that traces of the plantation have become almost untraceable, biodiversity has been restored and is not inferior to the flora and fauna for which you have to travel much further inland. From the hotel you can hear tree frogs and howler monkeys; nature beckons.
You will stay here in former plantation houses that have been stylishly restored; they open onto a shared veranda. On site are comfortable studios each with a kitchenette and private outdoor space. Around the pool is plenty of shade; the atmosphere is informal.
