Unexplained natural phenomenon in Venezuela
The unknown Catatumbo delta guarantees adventure and lots of wildlife. The Catatumbo River flows into Lake Maracaibo, Latin America's largest lake. The delta of the river on the south side of the lake is particularly fertile and is a paradise for many wildlife. "The lighting of Catatumbo" is a special, yet inexplicable natural phenomenon that makes the lake light up every day at dawn. A trip through this special area is an adventure in itself. By boat you will sail through the canals and you will find plenty of waterfowl such as pelicans, herons, ibises, seagulls, cranes and various species of ducks. You spend the night in the middle of this nature reserve in a stilt house and in hammocks to experience the experience, especially in the night. In the mangrove rich delta you will be sure to spot caimans, river dolphins, anacondas and various monkey species.
