Prof. Dr. J. Lengkeek studied cultural anthropology and sociology at the University of Amsterdam, with a graduation specialization in sociology of the built environment. In 2008 he started his own research and advice agency Jaap Lengkeek Scientific Research and Advice on Tourism, Heritage and Landscape.
