Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha has lushly overgrown banks with papyrus plants and water lilies, a special destination for the bird lover. In the lake live many hippos. In Lake Nakuru N.P. lies a shallow soda lake with thousands of flamingos. The landscape is characterized by open plains and aacia forests, where many rhinos and large herds of waterbuck live. More than 60 rhinos enjoy special protection here. Lake Baringo is a bird lover's paradise. More than 450 different species have been observed. On a boat trip across the lake you will sail between the hippos and crocodiles. Nearby Lake Bogoria is known for its geysers and hot springs. There are monkeys, small antelopes, hyenas and kudos. In addition, you will find a large concentration of flamingos and pelicans.
