Ecolodge on Nosy Be, paradise island par excellence
L'Heure Bleue has a unique location on Nosy Be, in the middle of a tropical garden on the beautiful Ambatoloaka Bay of Madirokely beach. At the lighthouse behind you have 180° views over the bay. Located in the northwest of Madagascar, the little Nosy Be is the most famous of the Malagasy Islands. The landscapes of palm forests, sugar cane plantations, ylang-ylang and bamboo are in perfect harmony.
Luxury suites and authentic bungalows
L'Heure Bleue has eight Frederique Glainereau-designed luxury stays (65m2), with large private terraces and great views of the bay. The rooms have a king size bed and a bathroom with double sink and a large walk-in shower. Thanks to the Ravinala roofs and the high ceilings with fans, your room stays cool. In addition, there are 10 authentic wooden bungalows that are virtually in the water, traditionally built and comfortable. These are also equipped with fans.
There is a fully open restaurant with terrace overlooking the bay and the freshwater pool, where you can enjoy your cocktail or the most delicious meals. The creative cuisine is inspired by the flavors and spices from eastern Madagascar. Here only fresh and as many local products as possible are used, such as mackerel, kingfish, lobsters and shrimps, a wide choice of tropical fruits and organic vegetables.
Sea turtles, whales and dolphins
Forget the time and relax at your own pace. Dive into the glorious waters of the Indian Ocean, or enjoy the two large pools that L'Heure Bleue has; a freshwater and saltwater swimming pool. Relax from a 'Bioaroma' massage with essential oils. Or make one of the many excursions off the beaten track. Deep-sea diving between sea turtles, whales and dolphins, as well as horseback riding, snorkeling, sailing, quad biking, you have a wide choice!
