Comfortably tented camp in one of Africa's last wildlife areas
Lugenda Wilderness Camp is located in the Niassa Reserve against the Ngalongue Mountains, on the eastern bank of the Lugenda River. A secluded bushcamp with modern comfort that blends into an almost undiscovered wildlife area.
The eight east African-style luxury tents are built on a raised deck with a wooden canopy and a porch with panoramic views. The tents are equipped with all the comforts such as an en-suite bathroom with a Victorian deep bath, shower and ceiling fan. The tents lie in the cooling shade of huge fig trees; a draw for wild elephants in the early morning and late afternoon.
Breakfast, lunches and high teas are served in the comfortable lounge area of the main house. In the restaurant you will be welcomed with the most delicious dinner dishes. In the evening, watch from the bar or on the panoramic deck as the sun disappears behind the mountains as the night bush sounds slowly fill the air.
