Shakti 360° Leti

Phenomenal view of the Himalayas

Kumaon and Gharwal are located in the Indian state of Uttaranchal in the far north of India, near the border with Nepal. A region that has remained under the tourist radar. Whereas regions such as Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh have attracted a lot of interest in recent years, here you will find a very rural part of the Indian Himalayas, with temples frequented exclusively by pilgrims and villages where time seems to stand still. Further north, Shakti 360° Leti is located at an altitude of about 2400 m, on the edge of the Himalayas. An isolated location, but therefore a fantastic place to come to yourself and enjoy the view the peaks of Himalayas.
The atmosphere in the lobby is warm and comfortable where the fireplace beckons you with large, luxurious armchairs. Here you can relax and let all the impressions of the day pass you by. There are only four rooms('pavillions')that fit perfectly into the environment by using natural materials such as stone, canvas, wood and glass. They are comfortably furnished with a large bed and a wood-burning stove and with stunning views of the snowy peaks of the Himalayas.

Sustainability

The hotel contributes to the development of the Uttaranchal region and the local community. For example, the staff come from the region and the hotel uses local products for, among other things, the preparation of the meals and the decoration of the hotel. You as a guest also contribute; for every euro you spend here, almost half goes to the local community.
