Lodge in the jungle
Less than 20 kilometers outside the town of Lahad Datu, you leave the asphalt. The vegetation gradually becomes denser, increasingly you will see old, imposing trees. Eventually the road lies between tall galleries of greenery. In two hours you will drive to the Danum Valley Conservation Area, in the heart of one of Borneo's most pristine rainforests. Far from civilization, Borneo Rainforest Lodge welcomes you.
On a clearing in the forest stands the rustic main building, the chalets and villas are located on the banks of the Segama River or tucked away on the edge of the forest. In the overwhelming environment where no straight line can be discerned, this is your exceptionally comfortable home. From the restaurant and terraces on the second floor, you overlook the river, beyond which calls the rainforest. Your adventure in the jungle of the Danum Valley is about to begin.
