Tour of the highlights of Nepal
The golden tips of the temples and the white peaks of the mountains, you will see both on this journey across Nepal. Starting in capital Kathmandu, where worlds converge. On the steps of the temples, trade and religion go hand in hand: phone cases and bags of rice are offered at the place where Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma have been worshiped for centuries. And not just in Kathmandu. Golden roofs, silver doors and the elegant carvings of temples show devotion in other places as well. Gods have their place in everyday life.
But the further you hike into the mountains, the less visible they are. During the hike to Syaglung , nature shows itself supreme. Travelers are welcome to walk its paths, but mountains do not give way. And so you sometimes follow steep roads, the Doban Khola River crosses your path and zigzagging is sometimes the only option. The views you get in return are more than worth it.
