SRI LANKA'S LARGEST AND OLDEST NATIONAL PARK
With 1,320 km2 Wilpattu is the largest national park in Sri Lanka. The pristine park has a wide variety of habitats including dense jungle, huge grasslands, a coastal strip and natural lakes. Here you have a chance to spot various mammals such as wild elephants, mint yawns, swimming water buffaloes and shy leopards. Also live in this national park the rare lip bears.
