This tour is full of very diverse activities and is suitable for families with children who are adventurous. One day you'll ride by tuktuk through a busy city neighborhood and cruise in a traditional long-tail boat, the next day you'll bike among rice paddies or can hike in a nature reserve where elephants roam freely. You will regularly find refreshment under a waterfall, in a river or pool. Do you prefer to take it a little easier? If so, we will adjust the content of the days in consultation with you. After all the efforts, the trip ends at a lovely sandy beach on the tropical island of Koh Lanta, for languid days of swimming and snorkeling in the sea. Where the world can't find you....
Tips & Tops Adventurous Family Trip Thailand:
- On your arrival day, get acquainted with scrumptious street food right away and get a taste of Bangkok's atmosphere at the same time
- Visit the first temples during the city tour and discover the great contrasts of daily life during a boat ride on the khlongs - canals - of Bangkok
- Your senses will work overtime at the Maeklong Railway market - which has a railroad line running right through it - and the floating market at Damnoen Suduak
- Take bicycle tours in the green heart of Bangkok and in Chiang Mai
- Climb the 309 steps of the stairs of the historic Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple and enjoy panoramic views of Chiang Mai city and countryside
- Feel the adrenaline coursing through your veins: the longest zipline in the country is not far from Chiang Mai and is over 1,000 meters long!
- Optional - if you have extra days to spend - is an adventure trip to a mountain village in the hills of northern Thailand. You will travel by local truck, trek and stay overnight in the village. The return trip is partly on foot through the jungle, followed by rafting by bamboo raft
- Near Chiang Mai, you will visit an elephant sanctuary where the animals roam freely. These are animals that were previously exploited for intensive labor, but now have all the space and freedom they need. We do not visit parks where there is interaction with elephants, such as washing and feeding
- By longtail boat, you will reach your hotel on the water in Khao Sok National Park, where you will go hiking, boating and kayaking. Explore the verdant jungle, the stunning nature of Lake Cheow Lan and the beautiful Prakarang cave
- Koh Lanta is one of many tropical islands, the perfect location for a few days of sun and beach
