The island paradise
Off the coast of Finland lies an archipelago of as many as 40,000 islands. Islands with old wooden towns, lighthouses, historic mansions and national parks stretching over land and sea. By ferry you can easily travel to the islands to get to know the islands and their inhabitants with their laid-back lifestyle better while sailing, hiking and biking.
Island hopping
Consisting of about 6,500 islands, the Åland archipelago is an autonomous province in the Baltic Sea where Swedish is the official language. About 60 of these rocky islands are inhabited and various activities are available. Whether sightseeing, relaxing or being active, it's all possible. The bicycle is the mode of transportation here. Cycle along flat roads with the sea at your side, over bridges and take the bike on the ferry on the way to the next island.
