You will also find mighty Teutonic castles, built from red brick and heritage of the crusaders. A visit to Mazuria should certainly not be missed with your trip through Poland!
Moose, wolves, beavers and otters....in the valley of the Biebrza River contains wonderful nature. The exceptional, vast peat bogs of the Biebrzański National Park offer you an unforgettable experience. The beautiful, open landscape is renowned worldwide as the breeding ground for many rare species of European waterfowl and birds of prey. In the spring, when the Biebrza exceeds its flood zone of several square kilometers, thousands of migratory birds gather here.
