Mallorca, the largest island of the Balearic Islands, has many faces. In addition to the famous beach clubs and hip party beaches, there are idyllic mountain villages and enchanting bays. The exceptional beaches of the island that is part of Spain are lapped by the clear turquoise water. Away from the coast, there are the imposing jagged limestone peaks that invite you for breathtaking walks. Fortunately, the inland villages with its picturesque hilltop villages and enchanting mountain monasteries have retained much of their authentic character.
