TIPS & TOPS CITIES AND NATURE OF EASTERN CANADA:

  • Visit in Toronto the CN Tower. From the tower you will have a magnificent view of the city and the lake. Part of the bottom of the top is made of glass, allowing you to see half a kilometer into the depths!
  • Both Toronto and Montreal have an Underground City, a second city underground with stores, entertainment venues and theaters
  • Toronto has a large number of Broadway productions of top-level musicals. Not for nothing is Toronto the third largest theater city in the world!
  • Head out in the morning in Algonquin, there are then elk to be seen along the road almost every morning
  • Want to eat out at night in Ottawa? Then head to Byward Market, a district with atmospheric shopping streets, a colorful collection of souvenir stores, bistros, clubs and tasty (seafood) restaurants
  • A tip for your visit to Montreal is Old Montreal. This neighborhood is mostly home to 18th century houses, restaurants, bistros and stores
  • Jazz lovers are in the right place in Montréal, the city has many jazz bars and every year the well-attended jazz festival takes place here in late June/early July.
  • Discover Canada's longest fjord at Saguenay. At Parc marin du Saguenay, you can do fantastic hiking, kayaking and diving!
  • Tadoussac is the ideal place to go on Whale Watching, come face to face with different species of whales and dolphins. If you want to make it adventurous, take to the water in a kayak so you can meet these mighty animals up close
  • Are you a cycling enthusiast? In the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve, special trails have been created for mountain bikers with a total length of over 250 kilometers
  • One of Quebec's coziest streets is Rue du Petit Champlain, a narrow pedestrian street in the oldest part of Quebec with numerous art galleries and bistros
  • Want to travel longer? A stay at Bruce Peninsula NP where you can spot bears and explore the iconic The Bruce Trail is definitely worth it. Travel here after your stay at Niagara Falls.
