It was another wonderful and well taken care of trip. Our driver Romesh was already waiting for us and took us to the first hotel. I had changed the first and last hotel in the schedule - a good choice, as it turned out. A beautiful hotel, although the approach suggested otherwise, with a fairytale garden. A wonderful first introduction to Sri Lanka, also because the food was fantastic. That promised something for the rest of the trip. The second hotel, near Sigiriya, was fine. Clean, good service, but a different atmosphere and a somewhat limited dinner. Then followed another gem: the hotel in Kandy, with the best service you could wish for. The excursions and time allocation were excellent. With Romesh we could coordinate everything: what we wanted to do first, lunch or no lunch, you name it. Moreover, he drove very safely. He told us what we wanted to know, but was not a guide like we had in Colombia. But together with the travel book we got along just fine.

After staying in Horton Plains, we stayed in another one of those fairy-tale hotels near Ella. At first I thought: why are we so far from Ella? But I ended up being very happy with it. What a view!

Our stay by the sea was great. A beautiful hotel from which we took some trips of our own (including to the turtles). Finally, we traveled back to Negombo via Galle. All in all, we are again very happy that we booked with Untamed Traveling. Everything is right, everything is well arranged.
