Dear Untamed employees,

It took a while, but herewith our experience of the trip to Colombia. First of all I can say that everything was perfectly arranged. All transfers, flights etc, everything was right.

In Medellin we had a fine hotel in a good location and a nice and good guide. The Escobar tour gave (too) much information about the violent past, therefore could have been a little shorter, with maybe something else fun at the end.

Los Llanos was really fantastic, highly recommended for nature lovers going to Colombia. The accommodation is basic but fits the bill, you sleep on a cattle farm and are really in people's homes. The food there was delicious and varied, despite the limited ingredients. They knew how to make something tasty and new every time. It is wonderfully quiet (we were usually the only tourists). The program was devised every evening for the next day, so it is completely flexible. We saw many beautiful things and in between we relaxed in the hammock.

Cartagena is also a fantastic city. Wonderfully touristy, but not too crowded. Really nice to spend a few days looking around, shopping and eating delicious and cheap food. Also a city to see if you go to Colombia. Our hotel was very nice, and the location was absolutely perfect.

Isla Murcura was wonderfully relaxing. Great location there too, perfect rooms, great food, nice staff, all facilities were good! Lovely two days relaxing and still the option to do all kinds of things.

In short, we had a wonderful vacation!
