In honor of a special birthday, Sam traveled with a company of loved ones to beautiful Indonesia in September 2025. The adventure kicked off with a night in Jimbaran followed by an unforgettable eight-day private cruise. Then the party stayed in the seaside resort of Seminyak, the city of Surabaya, the impressive Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, Malang and they concluded with four nights in Central Java and two nights in the capital Jakarta.

It is with great pleasure that I look back on our trip to Indonesia. Everything really turned out as we had hoped.

Komodo was breathtakingly beautiful and the cruise on the Maj Oceanic exceeded all our expectations. The comfort, the delicious food, the fantastic crew and guide - everything was just right. The togetherness of the crew was special to experience, which made the trip even more valuable. Our guide Vincent sensed perfectly what we wanted. He knew the most beautiful places and made sure everything went smoothly and this gave us a very personal experience.

The dives and excursions were wonderful and the drone and GoPro footage he shared with us are a wonderful memory. The two cooks really spoiled us; every dish was a little party. The overall picture was absolutely right and you rarely experience that.

Everything went smoothly in Java as well. The Bromo National Park was unforgettably beautiful and the guide along with the driver were incredibly friendly, helpful and competent. We felt everywhere the care and attention with which the trip was organized. Indonesia is so much more than Bali and thanks to this experience we were able to experience that even more strongly.
