Somalisa Camp is a small-scale safari lodge owned by African Bush Camps in the heart of Hwange National Park. With them, you will make sightings of elephants, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, hyena, and many other types of wildlife.
Sleep out on Ray's Pan Deck
The newest authentic safari experience at Somalisa allows you to sleep under the stars just 20 minutes away from the lodge. The bed is located high above the ground on a wooden terrace built into a Leadwood tree, above the waterhole of Ray's Pan, which is visited by herds of elephants and other wildlife throughout the night. Enjoy a selection of drinks as the sun sets, and a cup of coffee or tea at sunrise.
