San Francisco, Las Vegas and Seattle
Our top 3 cities on the west coast of America
SAN FRANCISCO - EXTRAVAGANZA GALORE
The iconic – usually shrouded in mist – Golden Gate Bridge is the gateway to San Francisco where you will be welcomed by pastel-clad Painted Ladies . The liberal metropolis is the seed of the beatnik and hippie generation, pioneer of the LGBT community, hotspot of Tech and frontrunner in sustainability. Start your visit at Coit Tower and take in all the beauty this forward-thinking Grande Dame has to offer. Discover 'The City' where you conquer the steep hills with cable cars, sail from Pier 39 to Alcatraz , feast on Hog Island Oysters and Cowgril Creamery. Try your luck in Chinatown and visit exhibits in Union Square. Before being swallowed up in the poet-named alleyways, eateries and funky shops of the Mission District.
LAS VEGAS - ONE HELL OF A SHOW
In the middle of the Nevada desert you will find Las Vegas, also known as 'Sin City' and the gambling paradise of the United States . The center of the city consists of one long street, the world-famous Strip with casinos open day and night, grand hotels, wedding chapels and unreal brightly lit buildings. Sip a cocktail in the 'Eiffel Tower' of the Paris Hotel, admire the view of the erupting volcanoes of the Mirage or the New York skyline in New York New York. Enjoy the free evening parade at Fremont Street Experience and evening fountain show from Bellagio Hotel, attend Cirque du Soleil's daily circus performance at Treasure Island's pirate ships or one of the ever-present music or festival spectacles. Everything is possible here, the sky is the limit!
SEATTLE - BRILLIANT PORT CITY
Seattle, the largest city in the state of Washington , is located in the northwestern United States. The landmark of the city is the Space Needle , a 184 meter high tower where you can enjoy art, entertainment and dining while spinning and overlooking the city. Be amazed by the leading museums such as the Asian Art Museum, the Burke Museum or the Seattle Children Museum. Visit Pioneer Square with the city's oldest skyscraper, the historic 5th Avenue Theater , the atmospheric artisanal Pike Place Market filled with crafts, and sample fresh seafood at Fisherman's Terminal. Aviation enthusiasts can indulge themselves just outside the city at the Boeing factory and visit the Museum of Flight near the international airport. It is a long flight from the Netherlands or Belgium, but Seattle fits perfectly in a tour through the northwest of the United States and it can be perfectly combined with a trip to Canada !
