Wildlife spotting from bird's eye view, 4x4 vehicle or from the water

By charter flight you will travel between the different lodges, giving you the chance to look for wildlife not only on the ground but also from the air, an unforgettable way to explore the area. You will take spectacular boat trips where, with any luck, you will see elephants bathing in the Chobe River, and you will follow the meandering waterways of the Okavango Delta in a wooden canoe, the local mokoro, on the way enjoying the animals passing by your eye and the many bird species you can spot. The Liuwa Plain is Zambia's hidden gem; authentic and full of surprises waiting to be discovered by you.

Tips & Tops Exclusive Botswana and Zambia Fly-In:

  • You will stay in small-scale, luxury accommodations, each of which is specially located to give you the ultimate Africa experience such as the Chobe Game Lodge which overlooks the river of the same name full of wildlife
  • Book an optional unforgettable helicopter flight and watch from the air as the water of the 1,700-meter-long Victoria Falls gushes down with tremendous force
  • In the middle of Liuwa Plains National Park, you will spend the night at King Lewanika Lodge, the park's only permanent camp
  • When staying three or more nights at King Lewanika Lodge a 'Sleep Out' is included, this offers the opportunity to spend the entire day exploring the National Park, discovering sights further afield or even following the migration
  • In addition to being home to the largest elephant population in all of Africa, Chobe National Park is also a true bird paradise with as many as 350 different species of birds
  • Every year the plains of Liuwa are the site of the second largest wildebeest migration on the continent, with about 30,000 animals migrating to the green grasslands to graze. In May and June the large groups of wildebeest leave the park towards the north and Angola, returning to the plains of Liuwa from October and November onwards.
