Round trip in search of the essence
A quiet, almost dreamy trip will give you time to get used to Laos. The private slow boat takes you along the Mekong, the slow-flowing river that will be in view frequently throughout the trip. The route to southern Laos is not a straight line. You will visit corners of the country and experience its enormous diversity. Temples with golden stupas and impressive cave systems, lively cities with neon lights and historical sites, jungle and waterfalls... Again and again you will meet different ethnic groups of Laos, the people are extremely friendly and relaxed.
In the far south of Laos, the journey ends as it began: slowly, on a boat in the widest part of the Mekong, in the area of the 4,000 islands. You will naturally switch to a slower pace, and can let all the impressions sink into a picturesque water landscape.
