Tour of the highlights of Nepal
The golden points of the temples and the white peaks of the mountains, you will see both during this journey right through Nepal. Starting in capital Kathmandu, where worlds meet. On the steps of the temples, trade and religion go hand in hand: phone cases and bags of rice are offered at the place where Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma have been revered for centuries. And not just in Kathmandu. Golden roofs, silver doors and the elegant carvings of the temples also show devotion in other places. Gods have their place in everyday life.
But the further you go into the mountains, the less visible they are. During the walking tour to Syaglung, nature shows itself supreme. Travelers are welcome to walk its paths, but mountains don't budge. And so sometimes you follow steep roads, the Doban Khola River crosses your path and zigzags is sometimes the only option. The views you get in return are more than worth it.
