My husband and I and our three boys had a wonderful, unique and unforgettable trip in Zimbabweand Botswana. The choice of lodges in the different regions, the organization on site , the guides on site were perfectly arranged by Untamed Travelling. It was a super program.
Each camp had its own individuality and was very different so that each day was a different experience. The very adventurous rafting in Zimbabawe on the Zambezi River, the "rain forest tour" at Victoria Falls and the helicopter ride we will not soon forget. Also the Stanley Livingstone Boutique Hotelin Victoria Falls is highly recommended .
The location of Deltakamp in Botswana where my husband and I slept in a treehouse, the beautiful views ( Moremi), the elephants just walking through the camp, the walking safaris with the guide in Okavango delta ( Moremi ), boating on locally made mokoros and visiting a local village; everything was top notch!
The activities in Camp Kalahari were also very unique and adventurous: we experienced a memorable safari adventure with lions in action and we enjoyed the sleep -out (only beds in open air on a vast plain where we saw unforgettable starry skies at night. We rode quads, participated in a horseback riding safari and went on a hike with bushmen.
The luxurious Kiri Camp in Okavango Delta was a perfect ending. Every day there were great surprises organized by the Kiri Camp.
We saw a lot of animals in Botswana. We saw lions in action, leopards, hippos, a family of elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, impalas , springbok, kudu, honey badgers, ostriches, hyenas , baboons, hundreds of meerkats (in Makgadikgadi) and many special birds.
Our boys were very satisfied 😊. The local people and staff there are very warm and friendly. The food was delicious and well taken care of.
We are still enjoying our trip and have lots of adventures to tell family and friends! So many experiences and wonderful memories.
